DrBhats Hospital has been in the field of medicine for the past 45 years It was established by Dr SK Bhat MBBS GCIM FICA FRSH when the immediate post independent India was slowly rising from years of repression It was his vision dedication and self sacrificing service which has brought us this far He was the only Doctor at that point in time in the entire town of Ambattur catering to patients as far away as Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh A 24X7 work routine without any assistance going to the individual patients home and treating them then and there endeared him to the local people He would even treat patients when called at 2am Such tireless service did put a small physical strain on him which resulted in a left sided stroke Which he overcame and still to date serves the people with a perfect smile
His son Dr SK Krishnaraj a young dynamic and robost ophthalmologist has taken the responsibility of continuing his fathers vision amp mission a step further by giving the people a unique opportunity to experience and get exposure to the state of the art technologies
Dr SK Krishnaraj MBBS DO DNBE established the Eye amp Skin Laser Centre in the year 1998 at Ambattur He has done his MBBS from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College Manglore and Post Graduation in ophthalmology from the Kasturba Medical College Manipal His surgical trainee as a special surgical house man in General Surgery Plastic Surgery and Gynacology in the Madras Medical College and Kipauk Medical College gave him the expertise experience and skill to run what is today Asia Pacifics most advanced Eye Skin Laser Centre His two year stint as a diplomate of national board candidate in Sankara Eye Society Coimbatore where he focused on cataract and reflactive surgery
Under the stuartship of his gurus Dr KR Sathish Dr NChandrashekar and Dr NS Upadhyaya he humbly imbibed the surgical training given in the fields of Oculoplasty Phacosurgery Refractive Vitreo retinal and Glaucoma surgeries
