Dhanalakshmi Hospital was inaugurated on 30th October 1998 To start with it was a 50 bedded facility which soon increased to 100 beds and in the final phase will be a 350 bedded facility It is situated in the heart of Kannur Town A modern cancer treatment and rehabilitative centre along with a well equipped geriatric centre are also being planned

Besides the existing specialties and super specialties the hospital will soon be having an elaborate accident and emergencies services staffed by well trained doctors nurses and paramedical staff trained in emergency medicine There will be Quantum increase in the number of intensive care and trauma care beds with state of the art equipments and facilities at Dhanalakshmi Emergency Care
