Ashwini Sahakari Rugnalaya and Sanshodhan Kendra Nyt was established on 23021983 by a team of devoted doctors and social workers after obtaining necessary registration form Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Society SURNSURGNL90183 Solapur

It was started as an OPD facility in a slum area with fourteen committed doctors and a few staff But a broad vision immense determination plenty of courage and an endless selfless effort saw this small beginning blossom into a 30 bedded hospital within a span of five years

The new building was constructed in March 1988 in the heart of Solapur city CS No 71011 Tank plot North Sadar Bazaar Near Bhagat Singh market on a lot measuring 83196 Sq Feet taken on a lease basis from the Government of Maharashtra It had a 30 bedded indoor facility with a functional radiology and pathology departments
