Dr Malhar H Dave MS is also Director of the Foot and Ankle Center Baroda India where is selectively focuses on acute and chronic problems of the foot and ankle Dr Dave graduated from MS University Baroda and completed his residency in Orthopaedics at Shree Sayajirao General Hospital in 1998 DrDaves clinical and research interests focus on foot and ankle surgery He completed an externship at the University of Rochester New York in 2006 In recognition of his interest and expertise in foot and ankle surgery Dr Dave was awarded the Traveling Fellowship from the American Foot and Ankle Society in 2007 Dr Dave is the first and currently only orthopedic surgeon in India to be awarded this prestigious Fellowship In completing this Fellowship Dr Dave acquired experience in foot and ankle surgical procedures at Harvard Medical School and Massachussetts General Hospital in Boston St Vincents Hospital in New York and Thomas Jefferson Institute in Philadelphia among others Dr Dave was an invited speaker at the 2007 Annual Meeting of AOFAS Toronto Canada He has also delivered talks at the University of Rochester Mt Sinai Hospital and Mercy Hospital Baltimore Dr Daves research focuses on nonsurgical approaches to plantar fasciitis and he is currently leading a clinical trial utilizing plantar fascia stretching exercisesHis areas of interest include Trauma foot and ankle problems and clinical research
