SCHOC is the first free standing Day Hospital in Queensland Australia specifically established for the treatment of Haematologic and Oncologic patients

The concept evolved from the recognition of the need for a facility with specialised staff allowing outpatient treatment in a pleasant and caring environment Our Hospital is licensed with Queensland Health and is contracted with all the major Private Health funds

Not only are the local population able to make use of the facilities at our Clinic but also people who are holidaying on the Sunshine Coast In the past we have had the pleasure of caring for interstate and overseas visitors If you know of somebody who may use this service it would be helpful to contact the Clinic and enquire as to what documentation is required to continue treatment whilst the person is in the area

We are very proud of our relaxing and nonclinical approach within the Clinic Staff at SCHOC are all part of a team which ensures the best interests of the person undergoing treatment are respected We encourage people to empower and involve themselves as much or as little as they wish during the treatment The Clinic has a relaxing outlook into a courtyard with a water fountain Soft easy listening music is provided to complete the ambience of the Clinic
