The Graham County Hospital was established in 1953 in Hill City as a 16bed facility Today it is a licensed 25bed institution with a resident medical staff of two physicians In addition over 20 specialists are part of our courtesy staff Specialty clinics include Cardiology Diabetic Clinic Orthopedic Surgery and Podiatry Consultants are available in the areas of Diabetes Management Dietary Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy Social Services and Speech Therapy Mobile services provided at Graham County Hospital include Echocardiograms MRI scans Nuclear Medicine scans Osteoporosis services and Sonograms The county is supported by a 911 emergency evacuation to secondary and tertiary hospitals

Since it opened the hospital has grown steadily with two additional wings as well as an OutpatientEmergency department addition and improved dietary laundry and storage facilities The staff has grown to over 100 employees GCH has a 65 million annual budget and is the largest employer in Graham County
