Health Services To be centralized

It has been reported that the health bosses of Eastbourne District General Hospital and Conquest Hospital are planning to bring changes in the working of the health services It has been proposed that the health services should be centralized either at Eastbourne District General Hospital or at Conquest Hospital

While praising the plans the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust said that it would help in getting the desired attention of the specialists Besides greater services would also be provided to the patients The medical professionals have also welcomes the move saying that the centralization of the services would prevent cancellation of the operations at last moments

Although medical professionals are singing the songs of praise for the plans there are few who believe that the move might push the patients to travel more than 20 miles for getting treatment The maternity ward would also be a huge challenge in such circumstances

Neglecting the concerns of the people the Medical Director Andy Slater said Staff at both Eastbourne DGH and Conquest Hospital work incredibly hard to provide excellent care This is about improving our services so we can do even better Andy Slater further added that the move will improve the quality of services provided to the patients
