The 14th day of April 1990 will remain as land mark in the history of field of dentistry of state of Bihar in particular and nation as whole for it was on this very auspicious day of birth centenarary year of Bharat Ratna Late BabaSaheb Ambedkar the Institute took its inception as a mark of memory and tribute to the great soul who dedicated his life for the welfare amp upliftment of poor and down trodden of the society The institute being the first of its kind in the northeast region of the country imparting vocational training in field of Dentistry under the banner of Late Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar the great humanist the pioneer of Indian freedom and the architect of modern India

The Institute is being Managed by Gautam Educational amp Welfare Society a Buddhist Minority Society registered under Society Registration Act 211860 as well as by Governing Council Represented by galaxy of educationists and dedicated persons of social and religious fields
